The ending is not perfect for me either but I disagree. First, yes KJW's mom left him and hurt him too but from the conversations with his dad and how she is still in touch with her ex-husband you can tell she was trying to contact him but he refused so she decide to be quiet since he's happy with his father. but what happened makes him want someone to be by his side of course!!! she was selfish agree but she's still his mother! if he didn't forget everything and tried to make up with her so what? he's supposed to hate her forever? not realistic.
Second, he didn't abandon XJJ. he wanted to heal his wounds at first. that why he write a letter to tell her he was immature and apologized for hurting her. he just wanted time to face the fact of his father's death. also, he thought XJJ was in a relationship that's why he didn't have the courage to talk with her. anyway, I'm pretty sure not everyone gonna act the same in situations like that, but I can understand him.
Guys! does anyone knows where to find the deleted or edited scenes? like in ep 24 when jing jing felt cold Kang jia wei tried to warm her up and held her hands but they cut it out. and in ep 26 jing jing touched jia wei's face but also they cut it out. i find it out because of weibo posts and I'm so freaking mad! check it out down here:
