ohh okay i see what you mean. yeah it's definitely a pattern. It's a thing with kdramas. but they sometimes switch up b/n which obsessed person is lame and who's not.

Just a think piece here but I think a lot of comments stating the drama is x y z because we usually watch kdramas for the smooth type of romance.
You know the heart wrenching, passionate, swoon, sweep you off your feet type of romance. But this one's showing the more realistic side of things. Like this actually happens in real life. (ml and fl and sfl I mean)
C'mon people, human beings actually behave like this. Even the older people acting like teenagers bit. LOL.
Like i said before it's not that bad. the comments are exaggerated but it's also not something that would be on the top of your list.
I'd also suggest not binge watching it because this isn't the type you binge watch.

I read the comments before watching episode 10-12 so I was really expecting the show to go "downhill". But I think the comments were a bit exaggerated. Like it's not even bad.

I find everything that's happened pretty realistic. ML "using" SFL is a bit harsh though. He just said he was going to treat her better so people wouldn't call her powerless. Didn't say he wanted to date her in rl. Also, I did kinda get annoyed at the FL when she was being wishy washy. But I actually do understand. she was hurt by love and didn't want to love again and had her best friend confess to her. Then he was rejected and was cold to her and then she started seeing him everywhere with this girl who wouldn't get off him. And then he'd surprise her by being nice to her and go back to being around with the other girl. Hell, I would also confront my feelings ASAP.

Ji Hyun's character though is a bit sad. Like I'd rather eat dust than let a guy reject me more than once. No pity from this side, but I know she'll probably feel a bit betrayed even though she was told from the start. Human feelings right?

I remember how we used to complain about the reality show but are now actually shipping the characters from it. LOL

Also, they're really making Kang Chae-Ri into a psycho with no explanation on why she acts the way she does. She's a bit extreme for me, but it somehow kind of makes me understand how producers might reason when producing shows like Love Island

Anyways so far it's not as lame as the comments might make it seem, but it's also not one of those must watch dramas.

finally watched this drama. and even after 5 years it's still one of the good ones. I usually don't agree with ratings on MDL but for a cdrama with an 8.9? It's totally worth it. 10/10 would definitely recommend. I also can't believe I just discovered Mark Chao. OMG!!!!!!

Not really. They made it look like she was going overseas, but in the previews she's just embarassed to face him. They really made it look like they were going to break up

Is it really a kdrama if they don't give us a nonsense last minute apparent breakup? I'm begging kdrama writers to break free of those chains!!!

it's really nice to see more comments about people enjoying the drama. right after the episode aired, the comments here were brutal. It's actually very necessary to watch the episode before reading comments to have your own opinion (and not be influenced by others)

Absolutely love this drama and the chemistry between the leads. The DAMN VISUALS!! IT's GIVING!!!!

I still can't get over how impressive GKP's acting is in playing Jung Ji Ho's character. It just shocks me every time because I'm sooo used to seeing him play roles that are a complete opposite to Ji Ho. His facial expressions just kill me. I can't help but scream every time.

omg I just finished watching this after 5 days of binging and no sleep. Where do I start even? I put off watching this drama because the number of episodes intimidated me. But honestly, it was totally worth it.
It's a 10 for me.
Like it ended on a happy note, we got a well deserved and thought of ending unlike cdramas nowadays. For me this is the blueprint!!
OMG this drama is THE BEST!!! The OST, acting, emotions, story, everything!!!!! I'm so glad I finally watched it. No other drama can do it for me the way this onne did. (even with all the frustrations and annoying characters)
I really can't contain my excitement because I'm so amazed at how this drama turned out. What a love story!!
10/10 would recommend watching this! YOU MUST!!!

Yes. exactly. Episode 11 preview would have given some hope after that damage at the end of episode 10.
