And let me just say that I’m not a huge fan of slow burn romance but THIS!!! THIS IS JUST 🤌🤌🤌!!!
It does have a lot of romance that’s why I’m glad I wasn’t discouraged by the comments stating otherwise! I’m not even a fan of the leads but I still ended up loving it!
I am not being paid to say this but please for those of you who are not yet decided because you read in some of the comments that it lacks romance, DO NOT SKIP this drama. I was expecting that I’d eventually drop it because I mainly watch for romance and boy was I wrong!
LX’s mom is so toxic. It’s already past the point where I can pity her for what she went through after losing her other daughter. I don’t understand how they can still tolerate her. Ming Yue & Tang Can’s mom aren’t any better. He Mei, I guess redeemed herself but the misunderstandings could’ve been avoided.
It was an okay watch, 8+ for me. I mostly enjoyed it because of the actors. Not something I’d rewatch though unlike Reply 1988. I had high expectation but it wasn’t as heartwarming or funny as I expected it to be.
Now you’re all making me want to watch this. After The Last Immortal (which I loved, kill me lol), I started watching ShenLi but couldn’t get into it, I should probably switch to this and just go back to ShenLi. Some dramas are able to get your attention effortlessly and then there are those (like ShenLi for me, IMHO) that I’m having trouble focusing on.
I’m on ep 27 and I just wanted to say that I really had low expectations because of the comments. I love WAY and thought that this is one of those dramas that I’ll force myself to watch just because of the actors. I anticipated skipping some parts, which suprisingly I haven't done so far and that says a lot because I tend to skip even on wuxia’s that I rated fairly high. I hope this keeps up🤞
I don’t remember if this is my 3rd of 4th time watching but it’s definitely my first time rewatching immediately after O&O and the 1st immediately had me crying lol. I’m so hormotional right now.
I only watched this because there’s Forever & Ever but man… this is so good that I’m rewatching. Glad there’s a sequel, otherwise I wouldn’t have given this a chance.
