Look i don't know about inner monologues but Xie Zheng has a bit obsession that we cannot see properly but can be seen in his sometime subtle actions. I am not complaining though and i am not saying it in bad way. He knows how to tame it and let her free but i like to think i can read people personality and there is obvious obsession which is sort of crazy in love in my terms.

I am literally willing to beg for more general and morally grey character for ZL. It suits him so much. Most of his work are always the good / innocent ones. He is brilliant on those but he is made for these type of roles.

People saying whenever XZ gets screen time he is always hurting and is weak is confusing me because are we watching the same drama?😭i get that he keeps on hurting himself but he is well enough to protect himself even he is sick asf. If that doesn’t scream STRONG to you idk what will. And i am quite sure that it’s his over dramatic ass talking when he is with FC. He likes when she hovers around her and lastly he will get hurt, he is dealing with bunch of things so that’s kind of realistic and human at the end.

I agree that if someone did the best it’s surely FL. Her character is genuinely one of the best in cdrama. Strong yet makes me wanna give her everything. ML is also doing so good though. This is definitely one of the best role of his.
