I don’t want to say too much and give away spoilers, but I highly recommend it—it’s a great story, and just like the dramas I mentioned, it features a slow-burn romance

"SecondML" is a good choice and seems like a decent guy, but he’s the type of character who doesn't appeal to me as a match for the female lead. Maybe it's because I prefer characters who know martial arts; I'm not really into the scholarly types.
RIP to that plant—that cruel girl bought it, threw it away, and even schemed against the female lead. Just another villainess.

Not to be... but that "second male lead" trying to marry the female lead... feels like he was just thrown in there randomly. I get the impression he's only there because the other girl likes him; I don't see any reason for him to say things like "I won't marry anyone but her." The only argument given is "love at first sight," but I don't buy it—I call this a case of plot convenience.

Ep. 19-20~ male lead is starting to get jealous~

they saved Lady Du life— now I'm curious to see her return—obviously she won't get arrested; Now she's going to become an enemy of female protagonist.

I watched the first 5 episodes, but I feel like something is missing from this drama—don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's bad, and Xu Kai's acting is impeccable as always.

It was crazy of her to meet Brother Du in secret—and, even worse, to get intimate with him.
She's lucky her other sister is sharp and noticed something was off.
It's a shame she couldn't warn the male lead

Ep 16... I knew she didn't care about certain things, but this is going too far.

Judging by the trailers, the male lead's ex-wife is going to show up again, but honestly, her storyline just seems like a way to push equality; I’ve already heard characters make various comments about the hardships women face; Life certainly wasn't easy.; Yet, hearing that from a villainess who mistreated her own servants—who were also women—just seems ridiculous. I don't like this trend of trying to redeem every female villain.
Finally, don't get me wrong: including social issues in a drama makes perfect sense; and also part of the reality time era.—

I saw some spoilers and found out that the male lead is going to ask to exchange his military achievements for an imperial marriage decree. In doing so, he forces the female lead to marry him; given the slow development of their relationship, he must have been the one interested first—but was he afraid of losing her?

On top of that, there’s a great scene where the female lead slaps the male lead.

Also, the ending appears to be a happy one, with the main couple having children.
Furthermore, ML will also discover FL's true identity.
