Atleast they could have shown a new entry who has a serious crush on him. Dont understand whats so unique about DM (other than she being his pen pal) that he is waiting 365x3 days. Guess we have to thank writer that time skip was not 365x5 days.

Its either a case of the ML being high handed by not telling her if he is alive because it will hurt her to know he is sick.Hence the time skip to when he is healed!
Or they are telling us she is still in love with Jun after five years of his death.

Exactly. Thats what I hate. Ambiguous endings! Similar thing happened in Doctor John. But there it was confirmed he was alive because the whole group saw him. Here only Rara saw him. Which feels like a cop out from the real tragic end the writer must have initially planned.

What is the point? Just end it with Jun being dead. No need to show him as RaRa's imagination as some half hearted consolation to viewers.
Also IF is is a dream, why 5 years later!? She could have had such dreams anytime after Juns death and before 5 years!

Kdrama writers have that thing where they make the second ML pine for FL even years later after the rejection. He may continue liking DM for 3-4 years more if the writer wishes so.
