tharntype isn't related to Why R U though. aside from the fact that Saint is in LBC and a couple EPs of TharnType, there's zero relation at all

I respect tharntype for what it is, cuz it was my first Thai BL and I can't guarantee I would've continued with them without it, but I understand why people are acting like it never happened

lol it wasn't the chemistry that made me have issues with Kaownah in Love Stage. I watched TharnType as my first Thai BL and his character ruined him for me

that's what I usually do with shows anyway. if it piques my interest, I give it a couple episodes, but I only get to the end if I liked it

it's not that I don't want to give it a chance. I may end up watching the first episode and seeing how it makes me feel. but sometimes you just can't get rid of the mentally you have for a series you love. like what happened with me and the Love Stage adaptation. I love the manga and the Japanese anime of it, I got 3 episodes into the Thai show and couldn't even bring myself to finish it. can't deny that Kaownah being in it was a huge draw back for me, but I just didn't like the way the story was changed

well my feelings are the same for the manga. maybe if I hadn't known Cherry Magic existed before this version came out I'd be less weary. but I still don't think I'll be able to watch it

as someone who is a really big fan of the Japanese version, I have strong reservations about this. watching the pilot, kind of made me interested but I don't know if I'll end up watching it because I don't wanna ruin my feelings for the original adaptation. it's already happened to me with Love Stage and I can't have it happening again

honestly though it doesn't actually happen and the rest the episode makes up for it. in the end I was really happy I never dropped the show and now I'm looking forward to watching it again knowing what happens

I think that's why they never showed their full names until the end. that would give away the big plot twist 🤣

what do you mean? the second couple turned out to be the main couple? I was shocked and confused but I think episode 6 redeemed the series and made everything less confusing

sadly my main Thai OTP isn't on here, but the 2 I narrowed down too were so hard to pick from I had to flip a coin because I love them both equally
