Just read the spoiler about the ending. I wont be watching this one....

Yes! What I liked most about it was how grounded it was as well. As viewers we already know the points of conflict and instead of adding more they just used the fallout and resolution of those conflicts to tell the story. Unlike alot of dramas where they introduced drastic changes in the last 10 episodes.

I finished watching and her attitude never changed. She was happy that the 2ndml was the son and was eager to get ml kicked out of the company. She even gave props to the 2ndml after she thought he leaked the info. Only reason she came around was to help her family and yet she still looked down on ml at times.

Watch Ugly Alert. Its legit the best family drama Ive watched. Its gonna be a bit heavy do to the ploat but its 100% a healing drama. I loved the hell out of it.

She wasnt poor though she had her own apartment and was a rising designer in her company. Also who she wants to date is up to her its her attitude and behavior was unappealing. She legit acted like she didnt know the ML because she thought he was poor but the moment she found out he had money she was all over him and came off as cheap.

Yeah I was surprised because I thought Song Weilong and Angelababy were like top tier chinese celebs so I didnt think it would look as cheap as it did.

I havent even started it yet. I saw the trailer and the asthetic wasnt appealing to me

Yeah, its always annoying too because its always the ML who are stoic and powerful so its weird and sout of character seeing them shamelessly chasing someone who doesnt want them.

I wouldnt call this a bad drama or good one. The acting is good but the story couuldve been better. They leaned into the money way too much. I wouldve prefered if they wrapped that whole arc up by the halfway mark so we could focus more on the new relationships and how to rebuild the broken ones.

Not really. Its not a bad drama but sitting through 36 episodes and then ending in such a cliched subpar way ruined it for me.

I know the ML mom is loud and obnoxious but the way everyone disregarded her and how she was written like the bad guy did not sit right with me at all.

So FL was about to give the mom the money but ML stopped her after he just wanted to take it back 2 days ago..... Im getting bored with this subplot....

Im on episode 16 and CR is my least favorite character. She is extremely self centered as well as shallow.

This whole sypnosis has my blood boiling. Why get remarried and claim the son is someone elses which insinuates that she immediately slept with the sml to hide the fact. Im sure the general had money she couldve lived happily with his family as an honored generals wife.

People cant seem to wrap their heads around the fact that a show based on the past uses real elements and societal norms of the past.

I didnt know they changed it I remember them registering the 2 seasons with different titles and thats how they got through it🤣

3 episodes in and im lowkey kinda shipping the ML with the wife🤣🤣🤣
