Why cant Xanxia's be like this? They did away with all the extra angst and cliches and still produced a compelling and interesting story. Ive been hoping to see a good Xanxia drama where the immortals stay immortal rather than becoming mortal🤣

Still weird seeing FL younger brother and her best friend in a relationship. I know the actor is in his 20s but he looks like a teenager. Maybe he wouldve looked better with Zhangs daughter.

On ep. 30 I thought she was about to kiss Shen Li😭

Well that kisss just happened. They have great chemistry. Now I want them in one of those fluffy romances together🤣

On ep. 24 right now and Furong being treated like a dvd player is killing me. Poor guy is foaming at the mouth but his sister decides to throw him around🤣🤣🤣

All I see is hate for the moms character🤣

On ep. 16 Im shipping Fu Rong and the snake girl so much right now🤣

The mom already has a nickname for YZM. Her calling him Ming Ming put a smile on my face. He slyly sets her straight without being rude and she falls for it🤣

I wouldnt say alot but they play an important part of like the first 15 episodes. Its hard to describe, their involvement is important to the story and arc of the fl and her mom but they dont have any lingering affects on the fl or story. The FL and her parents are more so the center of the show. Once the exes family is out of the way their screentime goes to Xu Kai 🤣

The exes mom took over the company after the dads second stroke. I dont think we'll see anymore of them

You should definitely watch it. The FL isnt a pushover at all. With the mom she isnt a pushover either but she is overprotective and controlling of the fl so she pushes her to marry her ex and the exes sister uses it to her advantage. The sister has limited scenes too. There are no lingering ramifications from her actions to the story, all she does is talk rudely and as I said the fl and her mom talk crap back to her🤣

The mother already has a nickname for YZM. Im loving their dynamic together.

Is Zhiming and Mrs. Liu relationship about to be one of my favorites from the show? Im loving their interactions right now🤣

I think alot of people went into expecting a fluffy romantic comedy or something

Exactly, Im glad to see more leads in dramas that have these character flaws instead of being these pure innocent faces.

Even the ML said it to her on the phone after she first met her exes family at the dinner🤣 He told her she is too arrogant for someone who essentially has nothing.

She had a whole house that she couldve let the grandson and mom stay in while the mom sorts things out. If she was able to build such a close relationship with the FL she shouldve been able to do the same with her grandson and daughter in law. Even after the ml mom died she couldve brought him back to China

I have a feeling that YZM is gonna be the one to put her in her place🤣
