The entire drama was quite chaotic. The acting didn't meet expectations, and the portrayal of the female lead seemed to lack the maturity expected of the character. From her first appearance to the last episode, it felt like her personality was more in line with that of an 8-year-old. The characters of the mother and grandmother were excessively dramatic, especially the mother of the female lead. The title "Strong Girl Nam Soon" felt misleading, as the spotlight often shifted to the mother and grandmother, overshadowing the intended focus. The demise of Ryu Shi Oh and the departure of Bread Song were disappointing choices. Overall, it's regrettable how the narrative unfolded.
It's a bit frustrating and annoying, echoing the drama and pettiness of high school first love. Two mature professionals behaving like high school sweethearts.
I watch this mainly for TutorYim, especially after enjoying their chemistry in Cutie Pie. However, I find the character of Jade to be horrible—embarrassing, gross, and downright cringe-worthy. It's not even funny to witness someone act like that, and I can't comprehend why anyone would like him romantically. While I appreciate comedy, it has to be well-executed, and unfortunately, this wasn't. I hope that someday we'll see a more mature character for TutorYim instead of consistently receiving this aloof persona. It's not the actors' fault; I'm sure they're doing their best, but the concept seemed flawed from the beginning. I love the cast, and I believe they're ready for a more serious story, perhaps with drama or even sensual scenes—I don't really know.
The kissing scenes appear forced and lack authenticity. Taiwanese BLs set a higher standard, especially when it comes to natural and convincing intimate scenes. If you choose to highlight such elements in your BL series, strive for a more natural portrayal.
Not the ending I wanted. Those pursuing justice met unfortunate fates while the criminals got away. KMC, playing the role of a good cop, ended up in a complete mess. However, I must admit, Park Hae Jin is incredibly HOT! I'm not keen on a season 2.
I find the plot intriguing. However, I'm disappointed with the way the writers portrayed Sprite. It seems illogical to depict an athlete who can't even perform proper warm-up exercises.
The acting of Meen and Ping has improved greatly, and I am somewhat interested in the performance thus far. I have no expectations, but I find Nichakoon to be very manly and attractive
Nam Joo-hyuk's transformation from rom-com, teen sweetheart to action is something to look forward to. His black hood and police uniform, create a completely different atmosphere, making me look forward to his first action thriller completed with his delicate and detailed acting.
Anyways, Lee Jin Wook is so sexy!
As for Dew, GMM should consider sending him to more acting workshops. He's cute though...
