Please, don’t listen to people who rate this series a 5 or 6.If all the problems in movies and series were solved…
I completely agree with you. People sometimes criticize a series for not having characters make the most obvious or logical decision, but if everyone immediately communicated everything and solved every problem rationally, there wouldn’t be much of a story to tell. You have to consider the characters’ emotions, fears, and circumstances rather than judging every decision from the outside.
Tae Ha's backstory really broke my heart. He didn't become a gangster because he wanted power/wealth or enjoyed hurting people. He became one because he wanted to save the grandmother who raised him. Living in the countryside with very limited opportunities, I can't imagine how desperate he must have been when she needed surgery. His circumstances pushed him into a life he never truly wanted.
Totally worth every bit! If a drama doesn’t grab me, I’m dropping it faster than my responsibilities. But THIS one? Had me hooked since Episode 1. I finished in 2 days 🥹❤️
First Chinese drama this year that had me waiting for a new episode every day.
