Excellent explanation. Thank you! I really hope she doesn't abuse innocents the way her parents did. If she does, I wouldn't be surprised but it just I hope not.

Imagine if Ah Jin's parents weren't abusive or crazy, would it be different for Ah Jin’s life? She is like that because she observes how her parent acted, is heartless, and only uses her for everything. Her mom uses her to steal alcohol, Dad for money, etc.. Maybe she uses others and became a sociopath because of what she observes or is it genetic?

True, Jun Seo wanted to be used and also wanted to betray her too. Ah Jin, on the other hand, wanted to use him…
Yes, he genuinely cared for her otherwise, he wouldn’t have tried so hard to make things right for the people he and Ah Jin hurt. He openly admitted that he loved her deeply, but sadly, she couldn’t return his feelings like a normal human would. With her disorder, she can love him in a way that she’s being possessive, manipulative, and dependent on him. She can't feel deep affection or empathy.

These two are just pity characters who're entangled by bad environments caused by their parents... i won't blame…
True, Jun Seo wanted to be used and also wanted to betray her too. Ah Jin, on the other hand, wanted to use him and betray him as well. They both hurt each other in their own ways. Still, I can’t help but feel sad for Jun Seo, the woman he loved his entire life can’t return his feelings, and worse, she’s hurting innocent people. All he ever wanted was to make things right for those Ah Jin had wronged.

No matter what happens, people who are meant to cross paths will always find each other again. If only she were normal, they could’ve been a happy couple. But this is a thriller for a reason, it wouldn’t make sense if it ended like a sweet romance.

expecting this to have romance is kind of missing the point of the story lol
True, the story’s deeper than just romance, but the tag’s there for a reason. Some people watch this drama because of the genre, including me but I don't expect a rom-com romance or any development.

What I mean by killing is too strong is because the law doesn't kill someone even if that person murder others. They only put them in jail. If she kill him herself, that would make her a psycho. If she uses others, that is better but only if she uses an evil person. No one is too evil in the story so far, just her dad is crazy.

She couldn't come up with a better way to kill her father. She's still young, trying to go to college to become a lawyer which she couldn't because her dad took away the money Jun Seo gave her for tuition. If you were in her shoes, what could you have done? And “killing” is too strong. Even if someone did you wrong, it's either put them prison or life in prison. Ah Jin father got released after a few years in prison and came to bother her life again.

I don't think she ruined Jae O and Jun Seo so far. They just want to be used by her to fight off her school enemy. As for Jun Seo, he is more obsessed with her. But I feel bad for her boss who had no idea what was going on.

True, but what if they did call the cops? A lot of times, cops don’t even do much when it’s a parent abusing their kid. Ah Jin might’ve been scared no one would believe her or that things would just get worse on her end.

True true. It's like she's mature or strong enough to handle it. She also manipulated her step mom to buy her clothes. Though I thought it was a little cute, it's like she's an adult. I was expecting her to cry or be shocked when her dad kills her mom but she ain't. I know people will say that's because she's a sociopath, can't understand the pain of others.

But what if she gets the characteristic from her dad? Her dad is crazy.

Dark romance, not sweet one 🤣
Or a one sided romance.

Feeling bad for him ? Why ? He isn't a sociopath, he can feel emotions. He should stop Baek ah Jin at the beginning…
It’s not really true that once someone becomes a sociopath there’s no turning back. A sociopath is very hard to change, but not completely hopeless.

Their personality traits are deep and stable, so it’s rare for them to fully change, but with the right help, they can learn to control their behavior better. Therapy like CBT can help them understand consequences, manage impulses, and sometimes develop a bit of empathy, though it takes a lot of time and effort.

There’s no medicine that can cure them, but some treatments can help with i anger or depression. The earlier it’s noticed and treated, the better chance they have to improve.

So, they can’t really be “cured,” but if they truly want to change and work on themselves, there’s still a chance for progress.
