you're right, the homophobia is real in some of them, especially tonhon chonlatee. the writers just brushed past it as normal and that was just really sad...tonhon was so toxic and homophobic but everyone was fine with it.

then this show might not be for you. at the end of the day, it's a mystery/thriller, not a romcom or something. the plot is driven by jane's death, not their romance. their love is going to be slow burn and it's going to be confusing because we still don't know if tan is good or bad. i wouldn't say the romance is weak, but it makes sense that it's going to be put on the back burner because it's not the focus of the show.

i mean the strength part won't really matter because he can just act weak. but yeah, i'm not sure how the hair thing is gonna work

this series really had so much potential, but right when it seems to be getting on track there's random drama that the director rushes through! i definitely can wait to watch episode 12, because i feel like it's gonna end in a disappointing cliffhanger and i just don't care enough to get emotionally involved in something so...random.
i have no idea why i keep watching every episode. the entire series falls flat, but there's honestly something charming about it that makes me keep coming back. i'm pretty sure it's fiat's acting and the somewhat fragile emotions the actors portray; it kind of actually fits the plot. and maybe marc's smile too because i'm a simp :)
