correct me if i'm wrong, i think it's the first time they address mental health from a realistic (more or less)…
I think it was also discussed in Yesterday. If I’m not mistaken, Kelvin was bipolar as well, with severe depressive episodes and self harming behaviors 🤔
But I believe this is the first time I’ve seen mental health portrayed with this much care and respect
I don’t think Yi Chen caused his bipolar disorder. But I do think their complicated relationship, the repeated…
I’m so sorry you had to go through all of that. Thank you for sharing your story. It takes a lot of strength to talk about something so painful.
At the end of the day, all we can do is take it one day at a time and keep searching for those moments of peace that mental illness so often tries to take away from us.
I’m really glad you’re still here and doing better now. ❤️

As someone who struggles with debilitating anxiety, this is the first time I’ve felt truly seen and understood by a story. And honestly, that realization made me cry for almost an hour.
Watching Lu Feng so terrified of his illness and, at times, of himself, really touched something deep inside me. My heart broke for him over and over again, and all I wanted to do was hug him and tell him he wasn’t alone.
What made it even more beautiful was seeing how much love, patience, and support Yi Chen gave him. Mental illness can be terrifying not only for the person experiencing it, but also for the people who love them, and I think the series portrayed that with so much care and compassion.
I couldn’t have asked for a better ending. Seeing Lu Feng loved, accepted, and finally able to move forward with Yi Chen by his side was everything I hoped for 🩷
I just have one doubt. Lufeng bipolar disorder came because of yichen constant on and off situation with him?…
I don’t think Yi Chen caused his bipolar disorder. But I do think their complicated relationship, the repeated separations, and especially those five years apart made Yi Chen become Lu Feng’s biggest emotional trigger. That’s why the fear of losing him again seemed to affect Lu Feng so intensely.
Maybe it’s just me because mental health is a topic that hits very close to home, but I think I’ve been crying for 40 minutes straight and I’m still crying now.
This was honestly one of the most beautiful and meaningful endings I’ve seen in a long time. A beautiful ending for a beautiful series that will always have a special place in my heart 🩷
