God this is painfull! the worst alien ever. i came here expecting a romcom with powers, and she is the most useless alien ever. episode 19.. im hanging in there to see some scifi... and noo its just basic love triangle romance with a very dull fl. but hey! im still here watching it

my guess: ex wife, he gets the dog on weekends ( like kids custody) , they cant see each other so thats why the dog pickup location is the daycare. BUT, the dog and the girl looked diferent from in the video, probably was like 6 years ago or so.
