It makes sense though. For them to turn him into a villain.
Plus he was never really a “good guy”.
He knew what was happening yet stayed quiet. He knew his actions led to her suffering yet still continued.

Then also having his leg broken and future taken away from him…it makes sense
What I look forward to is his retaliation against his wife’s father. That would be something to watch!
