He was going to do that Master Lee making it clear or not. He left Daeho fortress because he couldn't stand being around knowing what he did to the ones he loved. He made it clear he didn't want Uk to live as the son of a sinner, which means he deeply regrets his doings. He was running wild anyways, there was nothing he could do to make it up for his 20 years of absent father.

They went through a lot of stuff together and it took them some life-threatening situations to realize some things are not worth it. Naksu wasn't a heartless power thirsty assassin. She sure wanted to believe that, but we know she only turned into an assassin to avenge her father's death (a sign of love/passion). But then she lost her powers, learned the people she wanted to harm were not the ones who killed her father, made great friends, and fell in love with a guy crazy enough to risk it all for her. She understands now she has way more valuable things in life as a powerless girl than she had when she was a lonely powerful assassin.
