The last 2-3 eps were kind of messy but I won’t hold it against them.
I’m just kind of confused about what happened to Ryang Eum. He was locked up away in an asylum the whole time waiting?! Like WTF? How? Why?
And the “happy ending”…was it all a fever dream that Gil Chae concocted in her mind after finding out about Jang Hyun’s death?

That’s why I think it’s a fever dream she made up after finding out he died.

I think the first amnesia trope could’ve been skipped. The second last one made more sense and gave a nice ending. Although I still think it might have been her own fever dream after finding out he died.

I hated the bait & switch end of episodes to the next. He missed her like 3 times?! I was so mad!

I didn’t realize he doesn’t have many on his resume.

What’s another good drama if his to watch? I couldn’t finish Good Manager though.

This is based on actual history. This king is known as a very weak monarch that ruined the country. And the crown princes death was also suspicious. It’s so awful!

I did not how she constantly had the “deer in the headlights” look everytime she saw him.

Noooo. It’s super complicated and gets more so later. But it is the way of Kdrama historicals.

I’m only half way but I’m just waiting to see this trash of a husband get his karma! Pls tell me it’s a good one!

Does this drama have any romance? The desc tag says Slight Romance but I keep seeing clips from social media that shows good chemistry and skinship.

Yeah, I’m around ep 27 now and when his buddy was beheaded, I bawled my eyes out.

Does anyone die? Like any of the parents? I know the father of the FL dies but I’m only on ep 14.

Is the ending kind of open ended? I haven’t watched it yet. But why is everyone asking about a Season 2?
