Yh I sooo wish this short wasn't framed around bullying and internalised homophobia- there was definite promise here, and one could certainly grasp the realism in some parts. The testimonies at the end provided a higher sense of realism for me that helped me to appreciate the series more- and the mother's support really was welcome (esp. for a Chinese drama). A stable 6 I think.
Well that was rather convoluted- my brain went haywireee. Tbh better than the last part, but only bc it was less cliché and we got to see more emotion. Nice potential reincarnation twist tho.
I mean i watched ep 10 and 11 on 2x speed and it was pretty hilarious
IKR I have to do this w all the bogs-tandard BLs that either have trash stories from the start or include the same clichés- ie most of them . Only one recently is Untamed anime, that's about it. Oh and I've been watching a bunch of shorts.
yh bleugh- they should've just cut the series short a couple eps. We rly didnt need another episode where there's…
The one thing i can say I like, apart from the two main actors's chemistry, is that they used the fathers as ones accepting and encouraging their sons in their relationship (wasn't rly needed tho and Nikita- ur pointless).
I had really high hopes for this BL but this breakup shit over lack of communication or family not approving is…
yh bleugh- they should've just cut the series short a couple eps. We rly didnt need another episode where there's a 'break-up' for no reason, and we get separations from the pointless secondary couple like the waist scene....
Disconcerting to see the reality of all of this- despite everything though, we are given a story where love is found and family relationships are tested.
