I have finally watched it and only because of SSK, otherwise I would have skipped it. LJK was good as Eunsom but not very convincing as Saya. The queen and king roles were well played, especially the queen. SSK had a very "limiting" role and did her best with it, unfortunately it wasn't very "offering ". The rest of the characters were pretty silly, and overall the drama looked pretty low-budget, from the costumes, fight scenes and the cheap-looking CGI. 7/10 and that's being generous.

I really don't get all the (ultra) negative comments. Park Bo Young is at her best, as always - funny, quirky, cute, feisty. The ML might be a bit annoying, and there's a bit much of filler (they had to fit advertisements for all the sponsors), but the story is interesting, the cast is good for the most part, there's drama, comedy, romance. 8/10 for me, kept me entertained for most of the time. Heck, although I don't like Han So Hee, she made me reconsider and now I tolerate her 😄

Absolutely heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. Really good dynamic between friends, looked very realistic. Da Mi is already a great actress, and I am sure she will be a top actress in Korea

In Korea having plastic surgery is the norm, it's as common as having your tooth removed, very sad. Heck, they do double eyelid surgery at the mall 😳 Of corse, Asian people think it's a good thing

Well done war movie and another great performance by Yoo Hae Jin, he's excellent in everything he does and I appreciate him not doing any series drama . The Japanese imperial army was one of the most savage ever , it baffles me that Asian people still admire the Japanese culture after all they've done throughout history in Asia.

Shin Hye Sun was great, as always. ML pretty clueless but not annoying, 2nd lead couple - terrible, they can't act for shit 😑 The girl actresses - really good., the "niece" - she's such a great actress, so funny.
Story was very sweet, a bit cheesy towards the end but overall I liked it - 8.5/10 for me.
Shin Hye Sun - in top 5 Korean actresses right now.

People hating on Se Kyung, so boring 😴 She is TOP when it comes to historical dramas, her "Joseon Korean" is impeccable. I love her and will give this a shot only bcoz of her. Everyone talks like she is the worst actress of all times. She is very popular in Korea which is the target audience anyway, but foreigners seem not to like her. Except for myself 😀
