I don't know how much experience you have with different pple but if you have worked as a carer/ child care then you will Know there are ppl who behave like FL. I personally knew one who behaved like FL. I have a friend eho worked for a family member who behaved like FL father because she mistreated her maids. There are man who have married pple they didn't love in history all over the world. There were toxic family friends/relatives like FL's and still are. There are countless man out there pinning after married women or even having affairs with them. There are siblings who kill or try to kill other. Politics is always full of traps. Men have abandoned their families like how FL father did and still do that even worse women also doing the same. The drama is simple executed differently not your typical drama where they show us what happened at the mountain first then we continue with the story knowing what happened before. Actually its not only this drama I've noticed some dramas are like that these days. Where you have tho guess what happened before only for the truth to come out later.

Drama is good. Newbies are sometimes like that. Missed that side of ML from go east totally opposite of his character in love me love mu voice where he's composed. But seems like his characters love to be low key.

It has romance just not focused on that only. This one is a mixture of romance, which is still developing, politics in the aspect of SML fighting for the crown as per synopsis, ML brother saga etc and family drama mostly focused on FL family. You can't write off romance cause it is partly there.
