Not bad. Good cinematography, good chemistry, good OsT, just a lot of scenes are overly dramatized. But I still prefer Vincenzo to this. Overall 8.5/10

L&P is one of my favourite Chinese Drama at all time. I loved every aspect on this drama. The acting, cinematography, storyline, dialogue and especially the OST.

Thank you for your understanding. My concern is the storyline, not the acting. Even though their acting isn't amazing either. IMO, the drama's storyline is flat. Their love story is too sweet. Like drinking coffee with too much sugar. But this is still not bad, the drama Love Me Love My Voice is worse. Too much sugar will give me diabetes hahaha.. But surprisingly, this is the kind of drama that many people like.
If the duration was only 16-20 episodes, it might be a different. I will give... 8.5/10. Btw, nice to have discussion with you. Thanks.

FYI, I have watched 605 dramas so far. 540 of them are Chinese dramas. The rest is Kdrama. With so many drama, it's very easy for me to determine which drama are good and which are mediocre. It takes a drama with original or out of the box or unique stroy line to make me interested.
My most favorite kdramas till today : 1. Familiar wife 2. Flower of evil 3. Her private life 4. Tale of the 9 tailed 5. Goblin 6. 18 again 7. King the Land 8. Dinner Mate 9. The Beauty Inside 10. 30 but 17 11. What's Wrong w Secretary Kim
The list above is my favorite drama genre. So i hope you can understand why I said Amidst a snowtrom of love was just so so.

I actually like romance drama. But not for genre like this. Because the impression is too far-fetched. Meanwhile, the flat storyline bored me. I prefer romance dramas with conflict in them. It's more exciting and enjoyable to watch. 30 episodes is too long, 16-20 episodes like Kdrama are more appropriate.
Boring drama. Especially numbers 2 and 3. Too sweet is not good for health. A good drama must have conflict. Too much conflict is also not good. So the dose must be right.
I love the growth in Jin's character, he still is loyal to Yin and wants to protect her just without romantic affection... but at the same time, he's doing all this with much more calmness and maturity. And talking about growth Jiu is ofc on the top 3 too, we have seen remarkable changes since he entered the palace.
The second thing that I want to point out is that it is this bitch Hua Shu who schemed this plan to blame it all on Yin and get rid of her. They all just found the most fit prey to take the blame for all of this, after all the main purpose was the evil seed. I was actually waiting for this to happen the moment Lan Feng chose to take Yin with him to store the arrow, along with giving Ao Ge a reason to either help or just come closer to Yin (he will surely somehow be involved in resolving this issue) for them to complete the partial story of him and Xiu Yan.
Another thing is that I don't find Yin's "chase" after Jin is annoying, I mean what is love if not fighting for one another, especially since his feelings unwillingly got robbed. How would it feel to know that your lover didn't try to save your relationship and just left? (ofc he would never know since he would just create new affection strings with someone else later)
I like how I just like yesterday thought how the drama deals with multiple "part stories" (ex. the fox clan and the devil, Jin's tragedy, the firefox problem, the peacock clan, the Nether Realm etc) and wondered when they will start to forge these together hahaha and here we're today (ep 17 and 18). It slowly creates a bigger picture from the colors that have been mixed separately <3
