Heads Up: Grab a box of tissues before watching it. It is the most beautiful thing ever. The story is better than I expected. The acting is on point. Can't wait for the next episode.
Season 1 is a mess. There are so many loose ends that the writers don't even bother cleaning up. I don't know if it was intentional to create a mess in season 1 so that they can bring everything together in the next. Anyhow, I found that there were too many characters and too many story lines to follow. And none of them get a conclusion by the end of season 1. Except for Kit-Mark. It was annoying to not see P'Pha's face in the whole series and when they decide to show it, the show ends. I understand the use of a cliffhanger but the story started with him breaking up with Wayu, at least answer why he did so within this season. That's what we were looking for. Also, is it just me or P'Pha looks nothing like Thanu (why did Wayu hug Thanu thinking it was P'Pha?) There are other small things that annoyed me like the red bridge. Why bring it up if you are not going to show something significant happening there? Also, Why does Padbok hate Thanu so much? So many questions unanswered that it gets annoying. With that being said there were also many good moments in the series. I loved Kit and Mark's scenes. I love Thanu being protective of Wayu. I also loved seeing Kit's brother letting go of Thanu so that Thanu can be happy. These moments made the series what it is.
Does it have a cliffhanger ending? I want to watch it but hate cliffhangers. Should i wait for season 2 and then start watching it? I don't want spoilers but please just tell me if it leaves on a huge cliffhanger without answering the main questions or does it complete the story and has a minor cliffhanger?
I don't understand. What even was the point of the mother's story. Did I miss something? Why was she kidnapped? Is she alive? Other than that I loved the show. The acting wasn't the best but wasn't terrible either. I really enjoyed how their relationship slowly progressed. The subtitles did throw me off at places, but I managed to grasp the concept. It was a cute show to watch and relax. I do think that they left a lot of questions unanswered for a sequel.
