Go and watch the first episode of the special edition version(25 ep) which is a recap of jol season 1 that released just before season 2 last year for old watchers to refresh their memories of what was in season. It was created as a recap version.
The creators fixed the start of the series in that version nd it follows how the novel starts
Then come back to the original 46 episode version nd start from e2 onwards

ya never truly got wt jol was about , sry to say but fan xian was never op he just knows how to adapt nd was trying his best to survive.. as he was pulled into all the chaos by the hidden hands. ths season he got to know tht he doesnt know shit nd he have to learn all about it nd struggle now to try to resolve everything nd his so called supports he thought he had have their own agenda so he needs to build his own force nd finally have some joy in life later on

yes its for users tht like fantasy. for me its better than destined with you,goblin,moon in the day,my demon, from now on showtime etc tht have similar genre plot points
I dropped it at the 12th episode. Not my drama. Many say this is a masterpiece, for me Flower of Evil is.
For me flower of evil isn't as good as mouse especially because of that ep16 of FOE which was a disaster imo but mouse has done everything perfectly from Its beginning to development and conclusion. In the end it all depends on ourselves
No he wasn't an angel it's just that he's supposed to be dead according to fate but he was given extra life (God's gift that's why it's the titles name) to fulfill/recompensate what he needed to do,so after it's done he disappears
