Really liked this alot especially the second half was even better for me the last 3 episodes. Ryeo Un I didn't expect him to shine in this type of role.
I wish they could produce something like this again man mjty and fof are just another type of c series one old one named bloody romance could be said to be similar in aesthetics but it's not upto the mark...the only aspect I didn't appreciate was during the final fight zhu yan wasn't really that impactful to me all spotlight went to that bing yi guy that didn't sit well with me. Also loved the special episode thank god they gave it to us still a 9.5 it would have been 10 for me if not for that one above

I.e revenge, politics, battle of wits, mind manipulation, power struggle, scheming etc
Regarding why it's tagged as romance - rom is one of the driving force of plots (especially for Ml) but it's not the most highlighted part.. Its hidden blend behind curtains nd you only get the aroma of it not full taste
