When it comes to currently available live action adaptation then yeah thts true it stands different than others nd they used it very well imo but if you have read novels/manhua/manhwa there are more Wuxia stories which have taken sci-fi in key plot points it's just that they haven't been adapted to live action nd possibly won't be cuz it's not easy to do everything in live action as thr are limitations

As you have watched enough episodes by now u should realize that Jol isn't pure Wuxia, if you have watched enough Wuxia or read then you will understand. Jol perfectly combines multi genres into one with Wuxia aspects, palace politics, battle of wits/scheming, Fantasy as ya said sci-fi, comedy, rom etc.

tomoe nd kaoru give different life meanings to Kenshin imo each perfect at their own place.

They entered Kenshin's life both of them at two critical periods of his life journey.

Kingdom is good adaptation but it's about the warring states period of
Ancient China.. Its not rom focused but eventually in later parts fl will be introduced with her own story nd as rom partner but it's gonna be very slight
