In Myanmar, there're so many pronounce, eg, “ kyanaw (for man bot polite use), ngah (for both but it's not use for older people than your self), kyama (for woman , polite use),
nin (for both but use to talk girl from boy and girl to girl) minn (for boy ) and many pronounces , if u learn burmese language, u know more !! 😆😆😆 It's just a confusion🤣🤣🤣 and also Thai has so many pronounces like Myanmar

it means 'yes" 😁 there isn't much about it in English!!! Thailand has many pronounce and words to use for people! and also neighbor countries , Myanmar, Laos etc.......
