Not yet, for a proper watching. But I recognize two of the players: Na Hyemi (on of my favorite actresses too, tbh), who was on Home for Summer and No Matter What and Cha Hwayeon, who'll be taking part here.
Can't agree more that Choi Myunggil, Kim Haesuk, Lee Ilhwa all act very good on almost every of their projects (I've watched as so far), making them some of my favorite K-drama eommas.

I agree with you smh. It could've been better had we shown how MHK progresses from a full-of-love mother into a heartless one as she got back with her former lover. So far so nice plotting, tho. My most favorite scene - at least until now - is when Kwon Hyebin got poured by water upon making fun of Gemma, her half sister.
Kinda reminds me of when Hwang Suji slapped Kang Yeowon in front of one fellow co-worker, I feel like it's actually Kang Yeowon paying back for that hahaha.
Just don't this drama end up like how the previous MMC ended, for sure.

Ahh.. Tho I've not even given a proper try watching that drama.. May you also try watching My Father is Strange. Many watchers have given testimony saying that drama was very worth investing time on.

What Happens to My Family.. Rly enjoyed Kim Hyunjoo's acting there! She portrayed Cha Gangshim's character very well, as well as Kim Sangkyung portraying Mun Taeju and I also loved the way they finally became such a lovey dovey, after always having feuds one another (in also a funny way, ofc, which turns out I also liked)! >.<

Gentleman and Young Lady is also the drama which I'm currently looking up too, will be aired on September as a replacement of RS and will star PHN & KET who are - ofc - two of my favorites! Yep. Ever since MM became such disappointment, I tend to sometimes rewatch clips of both three of those previous dramas before this. Especially FP and MIAV, to see my beatiful noonas namely Park Hana and Uhm Hyunkyung. Seeing the two of them sure cleared my head out of anger watching this such a lousy revenge drama. The most irritating part of this drama's ending last Friday was the immediate time jump at the episode's beginning. All of it just.. Felt way too rushed. Never ever am I gonna rewatch this! Not worth watching at all, ever since Mrs. Hwang's sudden dementia and death!
Was what I felt too, upon seeing the finale. Srsly ... 1. Mrs. Hwang's sudden dementia attack and even death not so long after that? 2. Instead of getting put behind bars, SR became mentally ill and HR simply died? 3. Immediate time jump at the episode's beginning? 4. EJ's amnesia right a year after succedding with her revenge?
Wow! What a way to end such this rubbish, so-called-Montecristo drama. Same as you, I used to have high hopes that I kept my eyes on this drama, but thanks to the plots' lousiness, I'm never gonna watch anymore of Jung Hyewon's upcoming works, not after this. Shame on him! Never ever should this drama have been named "Miss Montecristo"

Yep. All 3 predecessors of MM did me all the way better: Gracious Revenge, Fatal Promise, Man in a Veil. And among those 3, Gracious Revenge was the realest one.
I haven't watched any other of Choi Yeojin's project than to this one. She's done a rather good job so far, despite this drama's absolutely awful plotting. Still can't yet compare to my dear Park Hana, tho😜😜😜 (huh!?)

Yeah. Although also didn't give enough satisfaction, I definitely have to admit that AMIAV did me way better. Revenge happened a bit later than of this drama but progressed rather nicely (police station scenes were frequent even before we reached episode 80s, I guess). Also was draggy, but not too much.
What got me very hooked was episode 97, when Mrs. Yun finally got to reunite with both her long lost daughter (whom actually she met often but didn't recognize), Han Yujung and her former fiancée, Cha Wuseok. That scene was just.. Way too precious and touchy to see. And Han Yura was kicked out at exactly the same episode. Aeigo.. How thrillingly happy I was!
As for the upcoming Red Shoes.. May that be a way better drama to this current, dissatisfying, one. I've liked Choi Myunggil's acting on Mysterious Personal Shopper and Gracious Revenge. Ooh.. Multiple casts' reunion are also happening on that drama, as follows: 1. Sunwoo Jaeduk's reunion: with Choi Myunggil (Again, My Love), with Ban Hyojung (Unusual Family), and with Jung Yumin (Unasked Family; from the name of their roles, I assume they might even play as father-and-daughter again, just like SWJD play together with Kim Kyungsook, the woman currently playing as Geum Eunhwa, as husband-and-wife for twice) 2. Choi Myunggil's reunion: with SWJD, with Ban Hyojung (Gracious Revenge), and with Kim Yuseok (Sweet Home, Sweet Honey) 3. Ban Hyojung's reunion: with SWJD, with CMG, and with Kim Yuseok (No Matter What) 4. Park Yunjae's reunion with Seo Kwonsoon (Unknown Woman)

This drama will just be like the previous "Man in a Veil", if the revenge only happens at the very last episode! The least hope I still have is for that to happen for at least 5 episodes.
