i think they just forget to update her role here. In the webtoon she was a part timer at Babi's tteokbokki restaurant, but here in the drama, she's an intern in the Jeju branch of the company where Babi works.

yeah I don't know what direction the drama will take. The ending of ep 8 took a 180 degree flip on Babi's character. I might have this drama on hold too.

8 episodes in and we don't know anything about Babi aside from him as Yumi's boyfriend and an heir of tteokbokki restaurant.

They should have just not given Babi a lot of Soonrok's scenes if Babi will still be the same as in the webtoon. All of those Soonrok's scenes were the key for Yumi and Soonrok to end up together. Even after all of those romantic scenes, Babi still got swayed that easy? make it make sense writers.

I read the webtoon too, but basing on just the drama, Babi's actions are not justified, it's like flipped 180 degrees. The drama showed Babi as someone who is very much in love with Yumi. And then just because he knew Daeun like him, he got swayed that easy? All the romantic and sweet moments he had with Yumi means nothing if he got swayed that easy by Daeun.

I watched it raw, I still haven't found any subs yet. I usually watch in viki.

just gonna call it lazy writing, after all those sweet moments, a lot of them, you saying that just because Babi knows Daeun likes him, he got swayed that easy? enough for his village to crumble? wth. They were together for 1 year already without any problems. Their 1st year anniversary was perfect as well, and Daeun can easily break them up just like that?

I don't think it will have romance, maybe a slight romance but I doubt they will show it in the drama. It might have few scenes where male lead will start having a crush or liking the female lead.

1st episode is so goooooood. Park Eun Bin deserve Best Actress award for this. This is so wholesome and I love it!!

I really want the endgame to be Babi too. Their relationship is so healthy, and I really love how Babi trusts Yumi. I doubt that, in drama, Daeun can make Yumi and Babi break up.

Daeun will be introduced next week ep 7!! But I didn't expect it to be so soon. Is she gonna have a lot of screen time??

That's true. There will be no season 3 of Yumi's cells. It is possible that Soonrok will be introduced at the very end, for a short appearance. A lot of Soonrok scenes in webtoon has been done by Babi, so there will not be a lot of material for Soonrok even if they do another season. What I would like is either let Yumi end up with Babi or introduce Soonrok at the very end as Yumi's husband, or just let Yumi stay single in the end.

ahhhh ep 5 & 6 later! I'll be watching even if it's still raw!
