That’s why we have to be careful with the stories we put out there. If you’re creating drama for views, for attention, for reactions — please be responsible. Because right now, so many teens and young people are watching this show, and they’re learning the wrong thing. They’re starting to think that being quiet, being timid, and surrendering to the ML is love. That it’s romantic. That it’s strong.
But it’s not. It hurts to watch. It makes a woman look small, like her voice doesn’t matter, like her feelings don’t matter.
And even if they don’t have a label, even if it’s just a situationship, the FL still deserves so much more. She deserves respect. She deserves someone who will sit down and explain things to her instead of leaving her confused. She deserves a partner who tries to understand her heart, not someone who only knows how to demand from her and walk away.
I honestly don’t get what FL sees in ML. He’s just handsome, but he’s rude in general. He has zero respect for FL. whether it’s in a FWB or his situationship with FL. The bare minimum is respect, and I’ve never seen him show her that. All he cares about is physical intimacy.
And FL is frustratingly passive. She’s slow to think, and the most inactive female lead I’ve seen in a C-drama. It’s always that naive, timid look and zero activeness

What do you mean? I'm a really genuine international viewer here, I have the freedom of speech and the right to express my thoughts. I have watched most of the Xukai shows. I completely agree with your take, every time I start any Xianxia series, my only expectation is FL has a strong and bold character and little silly at times but most of the time I end up watching series that have dumb FL. sometimes it's irritating and I keep skipping the episodes
