Super intriguing storyline and interesting how everything ties in and comes together!!LOVED the entire character development of whether it was the leads and or the antagonists~
The cast were seriously perfectly chosen for each of their roles and I ESPECIALLY loved one of the "antagonists" from the beginning - No Tae Nam kdajf;lsakdjf!!
Not too much romance but just the PERFECT splash - both showed great professionalism for the storyline and overall their job roles.
Even the side characters/stories were humorous to watch as well.
Aside from the plot - actually has some action scenes which were really cool and unexpected. Loved the tussle and struggles for power, politics, and justice. Seriously, everyone's acting was superb!!
In addition - really touches on the injustice system within the military which you don't know about / see everyday.
Overall, I really recommend this as a good watch!

FUNNY!
HONESTLY, for a drama that's a decade old - NOT BAD at all!Loved the dynamic of the main leads - absolutely outgoing of both characters and just a lot of fun!
The antagonists were great too - and had unique chemistry between all the family members.
Definitely had a dark side to this drama as well - but overall the concept of revenge, justice, and romance was great!
Definitely felt a little draggy since they had 21 episodes~ but was entertaining and humorous in each episode!
Overall a not bad watch - but wouldn't spend the time to rewatch!

AH! I actually LOVED the story and plot BUT the main leads were SO SO :(I honestly enjoyed more of the second leads' love stories more than the mains LOL
Overall - story is fun! Love the traditional sa-guek setting and of course all the drama with the injustice and imbalance of power for government/monarchy etc etc.
Overall a fun and good watch - nothing crazy... love the value of friendship, loyalty, and honestly the courage each character imposed!
The antagonist was also a great plot twist at the beginning and a great great actor! He really sold the show.
Not bad watch - would recommend!

Watching this in 2024...
Definitely not worth your time - I just watched it bc I do like Park Min Young, TOP, and Lee Min Ho.The only thing I enjoyed about this were the comical moments and just how far we have come in kdramas.
I definitely think they could have made a better ending - it was not satisfying.. it really should have ended around episode 14 or so...
There are some deep quotes/poetries around but overall nothing too deep or moving. Really played along the silver line with the love-interests and honestly was shipping more for the Park Min Young and TOP.
I had to skim through and play this on 1.25 speed bc there were so many slow moments/episodes...
Overall - once is enough and was entertaining enough to keep in the background but nothing to really focus and dive into.

Literally the best way I can describe this drama.I also think this drama is super underrated and without spoiling it really tugs at you with so many emotions, realizations, and just any other relatable content.
Justice, power, money of course - but facing reality (death, relationships, the truth of someone you adore, friendships, and wanting to protect the dear ones to you).
Some parts were slow but overall loved watching it.
I did love the main leads - all the ladies had their unique quirks and personalities, and loved how they all came together.
Loved the romance between the main female and male leads - what came of it and honestly so different from other male leads? Not the typical aggressive, kdrama falling in love - it was so different on many levels (probably due to their story line but still!)
Honestly, would recommend! It was definitely an intriguing watch!!

pretty good!
For a drama made more than 5 years ago - this was really good!Had a lot of action and cliff hangers~ and revolved around revenge, justice, corruption, integrity, trust being broken, and just real life emotions and patience etc.
There was definitely some romance - very slight but cute!
Loved the chemistry between the main male leads and honestly how their relationship develops and ends up becoming.
Worth the watch - if scenes get slow I would just skip through!

OLDIE BUT CUTIES - SWEET revenge for a reason
It's pretty old now so you gotta give it some wiggle room but OVERALL it was pretty cute!!A classic highschool bully etc type drama.
Honestly, every "revenge" felt SO well deserved!! Finally a drama that really gives what the audience wants in terms of justice and integrity!
However, that made this drama pretty predictable ~
Cute romance however the main girl - she's definitely not my favorite but going along with it since she's so young, especially in the drama too.
Cha Eun Woo was adorable as always and I actually really liked the male lead as well!
Super adorable and was a not bad watch!!

CUTE and NOT bad... LIGHT
The stories were pretty cute! Another light series to add - extremely short series with 3 different scenarios~Personally, I think they were all pretty good in their own way - some of them may have not ended how one may have imagined or wanted but still had good endings.
Really young romance/crushes, and realistic problems that are definitely relatable.
Great choice on the actors/actresses! All played their parts well and were adorable! Honestly gave such a nostalgic feeling - leaving missing school love, friends, and just youthful memories!
Wouldn't say this is a MUST watch but another wouldn't mind leaving behind the background type and lightly watching.

EXTREMELY EXCITING & ENERGETIC BUT...
Honestly, overall - super fun energy filling watch!Has a lot of action and good antagonists and really LOVE the two male leads - they do an amazing job of character portrayal and contrast! Such great chemistry, acting, and stunts!
The story starts off amazing and then mid-way sort of turns gear towards another direction... The ending DOES all tie up well together but really did not like the middle turning point...
Overall, still great humor - had so many laughs and tears here and there! Such a thriller of a lot of action and gore (not a huge fan of that but it goes well with the plot).
Totally would recommend for a fun and thrilling drama!

HONESTLY, SUPER CUTE...
A definite LIGHT watch! Super easy to follow and cute cast!Interesting little skit of innocent friendship, romance, and coming of age development!
Just sort of nice little in the background type of series - nothing intense or serious. Overall cute humor and not of a bad meaning + depth portraying the importance of friendship, apologies, and epiphanies!
I would find some parts sort of cringy/exaggerated but honestly, it was just like a little highschool's squeal moment type series. Still had some laughs and good moral/feeling realizations! Thought it was made with good intentions!
Would recommend if you're bored or so!

SO LAME BUT TOTALLY RELATABLE :(
QUICK AND THE GUY IS SO ATTRACTIVE.BUT WHAT THE HECK - all I can say is yes, this is relatable in the sense that some women are such foxes as the "friend" like bro come on.
And yes men are like this, they chase, get the girl, and get bored.
SO SAD. SO REAL. SO LAME.
However, the quality was good, super to the point, and cute cast.
I am upset at the abrupt ending and just like no follow up of some sort. Man, this director said welp this is how men are - they ain't shhiiiii -_-

SURPRISINGLY ADDICTING!!
I originally wanted to only watch this drama bc of Eric but honestly the cast was nice! Even Ha Jin :(This drama was unique with the side interviews to really show the characters' inner feelings in which most dramas have the audience infer or guessing~
I loved the approach of how realistic/relatable this drama was! The hardships of heartbreak, break ups, starting a new relationship/over, dealing with bumping into exes etc... Also how this made me question how everyone defines love extremely differently and how important being able to be yourself around someone is also an aspect of love - not everything can be fixed or completed with just pure effort/emotions.
This drama just had such a roller coaster of emotions and really have you frustrated yet somehow understanding vibe.
I also love how all of the characters - no one was exactly PERFECT and showing their development / growth was so fitting for this theme.
The characters were great! Although the main girl - she kept raising her eyebrows a lot LOL...
Overall, even the side stories were cute and tear-jerking. Totally would recommend!!

GOOD! But missing something?
HMMMM...It was a pretty fun and good watch! But I'm not sure what was so lacking to give it a 7.5?
I feel as if the chemistry between the two mains were a little off or so? However, I do love BOTH mains separately. Kim Bum was such a plus as well!
All the side characters were awesome too but something just felt like this drama was missing that extra "umph"...
Overall, it was a thrilling watch and some parts were a little too dramatic but the theme in general was good!

LOVED the acting from bubbly Kim Bum and charismatic Bi!!!!This drama definitely went a different direction than I had anticipated - a DEF recommend!
If you're looking for romance - this isn't the focus but there IS some romance (really sweet touches + cuteness to the lovey parts).
The relationship between the actors and chemistry were all just perfect! Really focuses on the importance and value of human life, huge character developments (especially in overcoming trauma and valuing other admirable traits people SHOULD have - empathy etc).
All the side stories of the side characters were extremely interesting and really very well connected all around!!

50 EPISODES BUT WHY NOT?
HONESTLY, it is an older drama so there will be cringe moments and out of trend cliche's but... OVERALL it was pretty good!The humor is actually cheeky and it's long bc it really goes into depth of each family's hardships, growth, wholesomeness, character development etc etc.
I truly loved all the characters - really portrayed their part so well!
Each family taught so much about life - the importance of family, revenge, forgiveness, studying, independence, wealth, respect, and just so much more... I really recommend if you're in for a show to put in the background but still want something that will want to keep making you watch the next episode!!
