the drama deviated a lot from the manhwa. the original plot from Ingang's storyline is quite different and Ahjin…
😭🫂 I'm 99% sure this happened but they showed everything about the aunt but didn't reveal anything till the end which is why I'm doubting my memory. I'm like did that even happen or did I just made this shit up
A bad ending can 100% ruin the whole drama experience.
I disagree. That feels unfair. The rating shouldn't be decided solely on the basis of the ending. And not the best ending doesn't necessarily mean bad ending
The ending was gut wrenching but it totally made sense to me...she was built to rise from the ashes and codependency…
No i don't think they will go for s2. Webtoon had bigger potential for s2 (her revenge arc) but it still ended with one season only. And there's nothing left to show here we saw her rise and then her downfall
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But wasn't there a scene in webtoon where it is revealed that the kid jaeoh thinks is his brother is not actually his brother and his aunt had been lying the whole time? That's why I assumed his aunt was crying out of guilt in the drama and made him leave immediately. But since the drama didn't include this revelation I'm kinda confused about her reaction. Why was she nervous and why did she cry

I think do hyuk is still needed because with jun seo gone we need someone who can keep her in check to some extent. Plus that evidence was bullshit. That wouldn't even have made a scratch on him. The goons would have easily taken the entire blame and denied talking about him (in court). To take him down someone needs to record the dude himself, doing something illegal.
Although I do not hate the ending i still prefer the webtoon version of the ending bcs there she intentionally gets pregnant and has a child just so she could use that child for her own selfish motives. Now that is exactly what happened with her. Her life got ruined because of what her parents did to her infact she herself blames them for how she turned out. So it would have been interesting to watch her repeat that cycle and then in retrospect realise that the apple didn't fall far from the tree
Now people are really overreacting. I get that y'all didn't like the ending but that doesn't mean you trash the whole drama and rate it down without even acknowledging how good and unique the story was from the beginning. Quite bold of them to make a drama centred around an evil main character in a time when most people prefer cute happily ever after romcoms. This creative risk alone should earn the drama few brownie points. On top of that fl's acting was commendable

At least they should give us some tension between them otherwise it would feel like a wasted opportunity
