Just kidding! Firstly the events happened in the past someone is retelling them in the present time( i guess one of the leads). Also the premise, the setting (joseon being invaded and a war will start) and even the trailer are hinting that there's a 90% chance of not so happy ending (my guess is ml will die). This drama is half romance half politics so it's hard to expect that things will end well without any bloodshed.
But of course I'll be more than happy if this gets a happy ending. Namkoong min in a romance drama is a rarity you know!

I think it's neither. Since jang hyun has some dark secrets that he is hiding he never genuinely loved any woman (and he doesn't stay at one place for a long time) but now he is developing feelings for the fl which his aide has noticed. I think he'll warn him that him being in a serious relationship with anyone at this time might hinder their plans.
I tend to avoid dramas that have a possibility of sad ending.... But this one I'm definitely going to watch till the end no matter how it ends as long as the ending makes sense.

Where you can feel their emotions without them saying anything. Namkoong min's eyes are so expressive.....everytime the way he looks at her made me swooned:)
A breakup kind of situation at the end of ep 15 . 🤦🏻♀️ (Even if she's just going resign or something it will still follow similar kind of storyline. Her going somewhere far away to do what she wants not having much time to keep contact with him regularly and them finally meeting in the end of the episode.)
And I thought she was super cool when she said why do we need to breakup. I guess they are going for the long distance relationship. Whether it's a breakup or not I'm quite frustrated with the writers for what they did in today's ep. They f*cking ruined his proposal and that drone show . I mean how dare they do that? 😂
