This drama is exceptionally well made. Despite being a legal drama, it's incredibly intricate and emotionally compelling. You can clearly tell that a lot of effort and research went into the scriptwriting. No wonder it's already holding a 8.1 rating on MDL in its first week, and even the domestic viewership for the first two episodes was strong.

Ikr! Initially I wanted a redemption arc hoping that maybe he wasn't aware of all the disgusting things that they are doing maybe he only knew about selling and refunding of kids and provides them muscle whenever needed. And honestly if that had been the direction of his character dex would have had a chance to showcase wider range of his acting skills and it could have been a valuable experience for him as an actor. But now that I've seen all things he is willingly turning a blind to i can't root for him. Him having a final showdown with FL and dying in the end by her hands is the only closure that would feel right.
I never wanted redemption arc for that dumb bas*ard character, he needs torturous death.

Just wanted to say Don't read the spoilers guys particularly about the ending. You'll enjoy the drama so much more if you go in blind. It's a thriller drama and if the makers have done justice to the webtoon, trust me y'all are in for a wild ride.

This type of genre doesn't follow the typical formula of happy or sad ending. The antagonist and protagonist are essentially the same person so idk what kind of sad/happy ending you are expecting. I was genuinely hoping that jung hyeon would get a proper redemption arc but based on the first 5 eps and preview of ep 6 i don't think it's happening . At most they might just give us a last minute, abrupt change of heart which I personally don't like because that points to shallow characterization and lazy writing.
