My guess is mirae isn't in love with hosu anymore or probably she never was they were just good friends but the younger sis mistook their closeness as romantic.

My guess is that hosu has always liked the younger sis but couldn't approach her because of their difference in personality so he hung out with the quiet older sis. Later she found out and that's why she started avoiding him?
