I’ve been looking into this and I noticed a lot of characters are missing like He Yan’s second family, Lin Shuanghe (one of my favorites) and even her ex-husband. With all these changes, I feel like they completely reworked the reincarnation part. If He Yan was never married and her "death" is different maybe instead of being reborn, she just survived and had to go into hiding. He Ru Fei also looks way stronger and more ruthless than in the novel, which is interesting. And it looks like Cheng Lusi is replacing He Yun Sheng so in the end Song Taotao will probably end up with him instead. There are just too many changes, so I’ve lowered my expectations to avoid being disappointed.

When she stole SCC’s project and apologized, I really thought that would be the end of it. But no, she keeps making the same mistakes. What gets me even more is that she keeps humiliating her in front of everyone and instead of holding her accountable they just say "she’s not really a bad person deep down" Like, really? That’s supposed to make it okay?

Are we even watching the same series🤭🤭? Because this is definitely not a harem. As the story unfolds, you'll start to understand both characters perspectives more clearly. Personally, I’ve never felt so represented by a character until I watched SCC. I was so moved that I cried during the first episode and completely hated TQ. But as the story progressed, I started to sympathize with him. I don’t see the "cheating" part because his feelings are tied to her presence in the body, something even she came to understand . Maybe give it a bit more time but if it still doesn’t resonate with you then it’s simply not your kind of show and that’s totally fine.
