The fact that the guy goes back to the past in his younger body to use more years and experience in another life…
so what do you want, he telling them he is 38 year old in a 20 year old body. Ofc they would think of him as a madman. thats why the people around him don't know. You call it scam or cheating but the way i see is that he got a redemption chance... whether he is 20 or 38 yrs old his parents are still his parents. Getting a second chance at life to form better human relationships thought started from a lie is not cheating.. He has to do better , he gained the years and experiences from the past to take down the big fish i.e. cho tae sub.. though u are right that there are no honest relationships but the relationship with his freinds, the old man , his parents are very warm and genuine.
