yes modern chinese dramas end with 40-45 episodes so no need to divide it in two parts but historical chinese dramas are generally long like 55-60 episodes so they divide this

yes they aired episode 27 and 28 in single day i mean they started part 2 just after part 1 so you must have watched episodes in a flow and would have not noticed it . This happened with many people😂😂

I guess they divided the parts because china had recently introduced a law that a drama can't have more then 50 episodes so that is the reason they have to divide i guess otherwise there was no need for that.
You must have noticed all historical chinese dramas releasing this year have two parts

I just hope AOS also starts airing part 2 just after part 1 but i know they won't do it 😭😭
