No. And that's the point they are making. Even if Yichan faced that loss, he could work hard, go to university, have a happy family life, and become successful with his disability.
i finished it now and im gonna f cry wHyyðŸ˜ðŸ˜ that was a mf big betrayal of the scriptwriters ill have you…
You have to understand that this drama was also written for deaf people. You can't just show them that getting their hearing back is the only possible happy ending for them. They can also have a happy ending without it if they are passionate and dedicated about their goals.
Korean dramas like this should have one last episode or a special with 60 min of them having a happy ending with funny/cute moments. For this specific series, it could have covered more on Eungyeol's happy future with his family, Eun Yu's happy future with her family, some flashbacks of happy moments on how Eungyeol's family was raised, Eunho's girlfriend, etc.
Go Back Couple, My Perfect Stranger, and now Twinkling Watermelon. These dramas were excellent heart-warming family dramas with time travel as their theme.
Dad knows.I asked my mom if she remember her 18 year old friends faces. She doesn't.
Those are normal friends. It's reasonable for Yichan's friends to forget him like your mother did. But, in this story, Chungah's friend (Eungyeol) changed her life by teaching her sign language, making it possible for her to date Yichan, and saving her from that evil lady. How can she forget such an influential figure from her life?
There's a plothole. Eun Gyeol was a very key part of Yichan and Chungah's lives. How can they and their friends forget him? Even if we accept that time travel affected their memories for some reason, then shouldn't they be able to deduce the truth by going through their photos? Eun Gyeol had a lot of photos with them. Regardless, I think the dad already figured out the truth in the end.
I have a doubt. Since Ha Yi Chan was not born deaf and had developed the ability to speak before he lost his hearing…
Remember in the original timeline an accident was supposed to happen and break Yichan's band? I think it has to be that accident that was supposed to occur at the band rehearsal or when the goons attack.
Would have preferred them Yichan recovering his hearing via hearing aids or something. But, I can understand the message the writers wanted to give. Overall, an excellent ending.
When I first watched Racket Boys, I expected all cast members to have good careers. But, I definitely didn't expect Choi Hyun Wook to have the most success. He has been picking excellent roles since.
I don't know if this is a stupid question, but Se Kyeong's biological father and Viva are the same person. Right? They why do they have two separate actors for it. Both actors are old, so it doesn't make sense to cast two different actors.
Eun Yu's was sent in the past to find her mother's real father and encourage him to fix his relationship with her mother. But, why was Eun Gyeol sent? Was it to save his father's hearing, so his father isn't so dependent on him and he can have a music career? Also, so his father can become more successful by becoming a musician?
This drama is too underrated. The first two episodes were slow. But, after that, the drama was excellent until the last episode. As a mystery thriller, it was written very well. There are no plotholes. The villain is terrific. There's also a lot of humor, which would make you smile throughout the show.
