i didn't read it so I'm not really sure but someone said YQ and CF went to fix guixu together and YQ died. Apparently CF's mom was the lover of YQ's dad and when he decided to marry the current Heavenly empress aka YQ's mom for political alliances she fled to the void , got married to CF's dad and gifted him something she stole from YQ's dad aka Heavenly emperor. The thing she stole is supposed to protect anyone who goes into Guixu to not die. When time came to fix Guixu, CF's dad gave him the stolen thing to protect him that's why he didn't die but YQ died. Idk if i'm explaining clearly ðŸ˜
