Da Qiao is older. Da means big and Xiao means little. Their names are basically Big Qiao and Little Qiao.
Yeah and I recall xiaoqiao calling her jie. Rechecking cause It's just baffling to me how the older one can agree to run away from her marriage leaving the little sister to marry this man that's out to wipe out their family, no matter how mature the little sister can be.

Don't mind my rusty memory, it's been years since I watched.
1. ML and FL respective families rules in their country and there's an overall emperor for all countries.

2. Feng Xiyun, Feng Lanxi and Feng Qiwu. Depsite having the same surname, their meaning is different.
The Feng in Lanxi directly translates to "rich".
The Feng in Qiwu directly translates to "phoenix".
As for Xiyun I'm not sure, someone else can provide why the meaning and why the author chose the same names.

There are highschool flashbacks throughout the drama and a very strong first love feel to it.
