It's not like ML married the other one willingly... The other one is sent as an spy... So it won't take long before…
I think that chapter was closed pretty fast. I barely even remember it. And they're not in a love relationship, the man she married ignored her and she married him for a reason.
It is so entertaining. I am glad you didn't let the negative comments deter you.
I went into this for the female leads and having already read all their comments it didn't surprise me. Chai An saying stuff like a virtuous wife isn't jealous. It didn't bother me but didn't sit right with me either. Was it normal in that time? Definitely. And the ball scene I thought he shot it at her face and she fell or something but it only brushed her forehead.
The genre is Historical, Business, Romance and Drama. Not Romance, Romance, Romance and Romance. I don't understand some of these comments saying the story moves too slow/is boring just cause it's not a lovey dovey story. I thought the pace is pretty fine. Edit: There's also a huge difference between not UNDERSTANDING a drama and a drama being bad.
For anyone wondering this is a fan meet event she was supposed to have in the beginning of January. She already postponed it and refunded fans. It was held in her hometown, her parents were present at the event. I'm sure she wouldn't attend something strenuous like a variety show where she has to constantly participate in physical games. But I agree with the comments that say she could use one or two months of rest but what about her contracts and prior commitments? She can't keep on refunding and postponing. As long as her doctor approved it and she feels fine to do so then I don't see the problem.
I learned about her from a reddit thread claiming the reason for her health deterioration was primarily mistreatment…
The mistreatment was before she was famous and the person kept on spreading malicious rumors about her when she became famous. Alot of things are involved.

She has Dissociative Conversion Disorder, which causes mental stress to result in physical symptoms, including temporary issues with speech and mobility. Thankfully, she is recovering.

"Isn't this supposed to be a female centric business drama? Why are the leads kissing in every episode?".ππ

Even my mom praised it.

She despised herself so much, no one could help her see herself in a good light anymore.
