💜: “In Last Twilight, I play the role of Mork. He is poor. His parents died and only his older sister, who is a nurse, is left. She is the one who raised him and also only remaining close relative of him. He knew that how hard the nurses at public hospitals had to work. So to support his older sister, Mork went to study mechanic. Not only he did not help ease the burden but also he kept causing fights with people from neighborhood until he was thrown into jail. When I first read the script, I thought to myself, 'Which of these are similar to me?' The only thing that seemed to be similar was my voice. My voice should be enough to get me into trouble. Other than that, it’s completely different.”
💜: “I don't have a picture of what kind of appearance a person like Mork should have. When I played Vice Versa The Series, playing the role of a super star, I could still figure out what kind of figure I had to prepare for. But for this role, my head was empty. I almost shaved my head to look like a prisoner like in the western TV series Prison Break, but P'Aof, the director, stopped me and said, “Please calm down, this is a BL series na” (laughs) Then P'Aof ordered me to gain weight. And my face looked too clean for this role. In fact, I take care of myself normally, play sports, eat clean food, don't smoke. As for my skin, I study dermatology and we usually take turns getting laser treatments with seniors. During preparations, I stopped getting treatments first, let my mustache grow, did as much as I could. Then P’Aof said okay, I looked a bit more ordinary (laughs)."
💜: Even though Dr. Jimmy is 29 years old this year, he is still a main target to get teased by younger costars, and the staff. "The atmosphere on the set was very lively. Everyone liked to tease me. I don't know why. It's been like that since I played in Bad Buddy. When I was working in that series, I was the oldest among the group of actors, but I was always teased by the younger cast and the staff. I'm someone who doesn't respond to teasings and jokes play on me. I would just ignores them. Until P'Aof saw this and told me to learn to fight back. I fight in my own way though, which is to ignore everything. They will stop when they get bored.
💜: As for working with Sea, we got along well. Nong has improved so significantly that I have to compliment him. In some of the scenes, I was able to play because of Nong.
"I don't know how did Sea prepare but I believe that he is an actor who does his homework a lot at the top level. My style is that if I find the depth of the character, all that's left for me is to memorize the lines. Luckily, it didn't take me long to memorize them. When playing the role of Mork, after I played it for some time, my understanding of the character got better. So it took me less time, but Sea probably read the script, recorded it with his own voice and made a lot of phone calls to P'Aof for consulting. Using the words 'dedication' and 'determination' to describe him is not exaggerated at all. And what Nong does is showing results. Nong is a really good actor.”
'There is no tomorrow' is what Mork has taught Jimmy. “This character encountered an incident that made him regret later. Due to his delinquency, he was arrested and didn't get to answer a phone call from his sister which later became a wound in his heart. After that, no matter what, if he plans to do it, he does it immediately. No procrastinating. There's no 'Waiting' for him. If he has something to do it, does it right away. Sometimes, I can be lazy. Mork’s character also encourages me to be more active.”
Due to how overt Gino's affection is towards Guan Yu, Nio waited until they're alone tgt b4 expressing his feelings thus why he chose GY to be his roommate
Abao's presence changed Nio's demeanor for the rest of the show, not as closed up as b4 --- suddenly brought up with the other 3 why he chose GY (half ass excuse)
After watching EP 5, Gino posted a dramatic/poetic post on IG
Gino's family hasn't seen the show, but they're currently in Japan and it's set to broadcast on TV there mid Nov
Gino had a period of depression b4 the show, as he's the oldest he focused more on his career. The show helped him put himself back out there.
