I've a question... During the last episode when Ok Hee was kidnapped, Ye Bun could still hear sounds from the environment and thus deduce where she went. So this means that although the sharman killer wore sunglasses to hide his sight, noises could be heard!
Which then... doesn't make sense that back when Ye Bun "reviewed" the memories of the sharman, all she saw was the blacked out screen but didn't hear any suspicious sound during his killings

The novel ends up as them being reincarnated/stepping out of their shells as new being. I'm not sure if they retain their original memories although it's hinted they end up tgt. Then again I don't read Chinese n the drama might change, who knows? :)

Then again, I don't mind if it's tragic ending if it's well written! What I meant by tragic premise was the male lead using the female as a tool in the original novel. I googled translated the original novel ending - it's a HE, but not quite sure I like it. Keeping our fingers crossed!
