He's one of the only non influencer /model/ actor type there. He's an accountant (like myself so maybe I'm little biased) He's interested and wanted to pursue Arin at the beginning even though Sian (she's flirting seeing if he'd reciprocate) and Youjin showed interest in him (and Youjin was his type) he still chose to know more abt Arin instead of just basing on physical attributes or type.. He felt good abt the connection and talks they'd before others came... that shows he's not here just for fun or fling.
I think he's fear of rejection or being a placeholder for someone better....When Arin didn't give him the ticket he felt she doesn't feel the same about him so he instead of following the same girl like some Men have done in previous seasons and shows for the sake of it (which I absolutely hate) tried forming other connections so he's trying dat with Youjin but when she acted out on the Bon fire (you can see the clear disappointment in his face) he felt she doesn't like him either and when Arin said she's interested in him he was surprised and confirmed her there will be no no.2 from now...
Status : felt the most genuine among the bunch. People complaining he's wavering or he's not actively persuing the same girl are dead wrong if you've really been rejected in life you'd know if you want something solid instead of just fame you'll have to really see if the other person is interested in you if you don't feel dat you'll be dragged along and will be disappointed
