That's a plausible theory too but I kinda vaguely remember that even naksu was able to sense the ice stone energy in part 1 or am I wrong? If so, it buries the bu yeon theory in my opinion.

It is naksu but think mama jin has brainwashed her into believing that she is bu yeon. In the preview she tells to jang uk that she has no memory prior to the 3 years. I think yul will be the first one to recognize her but guess he will not tell uk probably to protect her this time around. Uk and naksu will figure it out with some sort of memory trigger maybe which will be the further plot from here.
I simply have no words. Just wow. The wait was totally worth it. The ending of episode 1 was just 😍 . So happy for GYJ. It is not easy to deliver when expectations were sky high and the kind of vilification she was subjected to by the trolls, and she just served it like a queen she is. A satisfying yet a kickass start it is.
6300+ comments for a drama that's not even aired yet is such a glaring testament for the quality of part 1. So, it's already a massive win for the cast and crew in my opinion. Hope they finish this on a high. They deserve every bit of it. :)
Oh my god. They simply served with that ending. I didn't think a costume drama could have such a wholesome ending with literally almost everyone in the cast. Super satisfying for me because it felt like a gentle breeze amidst all the angsty and nerve wrecking dramas out there.
Also props to the director for keeping all those intimate kisses in the latter episodes for all the skinship that were missed due to the yuan ying plot. No complaints at all xD
Amazing how the director has managed to keep the series lighthearted through and through till the end especially for a period drama. Like even the malicious villains aren't as bad or the sinister things they do doesn't go on like forever.
