I had this doubt for the longest time as well. I think it's because a sibling has the same parents as the patient and also a similar genetic makeup. Whereas a parent is only half identical (?) Hence why the former is preferred as a donor.

Did anyone notice ZCL's grampa's lightning colour was white or tainted? I think his grandpa used pure yang lightning techniques. So this brings me to suspect if ZCL is really his biological grandson or not.
