You might or might not like it. The actors are good (let’s not talk about the directing, since that’s probably the worst part of the show). It’s just not living up to the expectations I had for it. But honestly, it doesn’t deserve a 6.9 that’s way too low... P.S: I’ve only watched 14 episodes so far, so don’t judge based on what I said

@Tricimc Honestly, there were a lot of hints along the way that he was going to survive. I don't know if it's just me overthinking things, but when she brought clothes to his coffin, at the very least, she already knew that he hadn't died at that moment. My theory is that, as we know, he wants to make her feel safe, and the only way she truly feels safe is by having power. By faking his death and making his son the emperor, she would automatically become the Empress Dowager.
