I’ve been subscribing VIP premium for iQiyi, I thought they unlock the express slightly earlier for express…
i mostly have experience with iqiyi more than wetv because it's been long time ago i purchase svip at wetv because need to purchase twice.. I'm lazy for that.
based on my experience, premium vip will auto unlocked for express episode (all drama so if subs for 1yr or 6 month and watch drama every week, every months is so worthy, just pay one time). But if that drama is original mangotv or tencent and your iqiyi region purchase it, sometime they give premium vip unlocked directly sometime u can't access to svp episode n must purchase express episode. So if iqiyi able to give premium vip unlocked svp now, it's highly cases to access express episode (i guess it based on their contract purchased), so i didn't confirmed it until final epi later.
ep 1-4 i keep exchange watching on both platform, between wetv n iqiyi but because i want to watch ep 5 asap, i choose iqiyi because as vip standard user i can choose to upgrade for free (premium) so i could access svp epi ! (since they have it, some drama if not originally iqiyi they can't give svp episode for premium. Since I can unlocked here, probably i could access to express episode in the future.. Hopefully lah
so anyone if have vip standard iqiyi, just upgraded it 😄 more worthwhile if your current vip is long term (i hve 1yr)
