u should watch his detective / crime drama. he's the best for it, his recent drama which aired last month (Unnatural Fire) was the best role/drama of him so far but it's not romance (i think for romance this drama probably his best role), UF is pure trio triangle relationship

Yes, actually I have low expectations 😂 luckily it was still pretty good for me

they think it's good idea (dumb decision) i also have my fav donghua (+novel) adaption to drama, too few...is good in my opinion however for dubbed they can still use original actor voice.
alright anyway atleast this part is still watchable, so i still relieved.

what i dislike the most this part 2 they literally dubbed everyone, using voice actor from donghua version. This the downside of this story... why did they think it's a good idea...

Trying it out for Xueyi and Ruipeng (i know it's years ago, so i just realised they shoot this one first before tboy) and I'm curious how the editing since Yixuan is reshoot most scene i think but not sure since it's alot of episode... I kinda like her from TBW. Up until episode 2 it's quite good, i still feel a bit chemistry though now i really wonder which part she reshoot with ML, they hve work hard! Since it's years ago, the storyline and coloring was similar from 2017-2020 xianxia i think, it's reminded me of my first xianxia Ten Miles of Peach Blossom, the scenery in celestial quite similar. The CGI still decent to look, didn't look too cheap nor bad although it's been a few years ago, that's surprised me.

Now, as long as there's no excessive third person who is like ML or probably FL (if they appear a little i can still accept), and didn't have much bully part towards FL i might survive watching this but idk.. bcs i can't stand some xianxia who is bully FL alot 😞

since it's 40 episode i will try watch it slowly without missed too much episode, i also watch another drama rn 😅

right, tbh i do understand if some people just watch their fav part (while i like everyone so i will watch for every cast) but don't disrespect other actors especially main leads, both of them are veteran actor and actress that have awards with their belts, though FL is top actress so it didn't effect much but ML is underrated though passerby and public like him... that's why i decide not to comments here, just watch silently... i found some toxic comments here compare...emm

so it's ok for me if you want to watch and commenr about ur fav but don't need to compare with anyone else.

amazing summary, i right now continue watching this part 1 solely for the cast (i like their costume, cgi etc) but the plot was baddddd, i watch with 2.0 faster to just understand some story and also can't wait to see part 2 (though i know it happen before part 1) i really love leon zhang, to see him with shishi is such a pleasing in my eyes, though i hope it's more interesting in part 2 however i didn't put hope high due to same production team 🙂
